In a world that is heavily focused on e-commerce Jo Jackson wants all her customers to feel the instore experience. Although Jo – founder of the Melbourne based natural and organic beauty & Lifestyle store The Lab Organics has established one of Australia’s largest natural & organic beauty webstores, her passion comes from customers visiting her physical store, experiencing the brands and learning firsthand from The Lab Organics team and their products.

While working as a buyer for large retailers, Jo realised there was an opportunity for a store that focused solely on selling plant-based beauty and sustainable lifestyle products. Jo opened her first store back in 2011 in a converted Victorian terrace house in Melbourne Carlton North. This remains TLO Flagship store today

The Lab Organics is an Inner North haven for Melbournians and visitors seeking the best in plant-based beauty & fragrance from around the globe. Merchanded amongst the most beautifully hand-made homewares to luxurious organic cotton bath towels from Australian and New Zealand brands

11 years on, Jo is now a Mum to 2 beautiful girls Zhara and Alessia.  Being a Mum has allowed her to connect with more women and families with a deeper level of understanding on the importance of sustainable plant base beauty & lifestyle products not just for ourselves but for our precious family members, in our homes and for our planet.

Jo continues to grow TLO into new categories like maternity, baby, and sustainable living. Naturally!
